Vancity Live Edge (VCLE) was established in 2011 by Eric Riley.  His history in working with wood began in 1998 with employment in several cabinetmaking shops. In 2008 he opened his own cabinet business, Riley’s Custom Cabinets. With this success Eric decided to hone his craft by taking Joinery at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Graduating in 2010 with a degree, and establishing VCLE a year later, Eric was able to showcase his love of wood and his gift of immaculate and precise craftsmanship in both cabinetry and furniture making.
